About

Ron Scott designs websites - he’s been doing it for over 3 years now. Ron is 15 years old, and lives in Parrsboro, Nova Scotia, Canada. He attends the high school in the same town. Parrsboro Regional High School is a small place, with less than 300 students. It’s also a terrific spot for learning, and one of the best schools in Eastern Canada (that’s his opinion, mind you).
Currently, school takes up much of Ron’s waking hours, and web design is left to be fit in wherever free time appears. After high school he plans to attend university for courses in web and graphic design, as well as photography and new media studies.
And after university, he’s moving to New Zealand to expand his career in web design.
BetaTalk, Ron’s Blog
BetaTalk was begun in mid-2006, as a playground for Ron’s website design and development endeavours. It has gradually snowballed into a larger being, one which generates a fair amount of traffic and business for him.
The current design of BetaTalk is a 5th-generation installment, launched in the week after Christmas in 2007. It is codenamed Maxima, and Ron hopes to have it featured on several mainstream CSS galleries. BetaTalk is powered by Wordpress 2.3, and hosted for free by the good folks over at EJ.AM.
It is always good practice to give credit where credit is due, so provided is a list of the plugins Ron uses to help run the backend of BetaTalk.

Guitar
Ron spends much of his free time playing guitar. Does any more need to be said?
Photography
Capturing the world through still pictures has recently become an intensive hobby for Ron. He owns a beautiful little Nikon camera, which he uses to shoot photos with mood, feeling, and beauty.
Ron recently launched his own photoblog, called Original Gray. It is a place for him to share some of the very best snapshots of his life. As time goes on, he hopes to be able to post a photo a day to the site. Larger samples of his photography can be found in his Facebook photo albums.
